Gowalla's Humor

I'm a foursquare user over gowalla for the reason that it became more accessible here in Philippines. A lot are raving about it because of its UI shiznit, the look-and-feel factor. Anyway, I am checking on it because I'm seeing a few twitter users in Philippines checking in to places using gowalla.

So I make a quick go-through of their homepage, to see what these web enthusiast were raving about the cool design of gowalla. Anyhoo, I am no web design particular person. Because I'm always function over form more than any thing.

What catches my attention with Gowalla is its humor added to their Policy part:

It says: Read our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when your're bored.

After signing up, I get the Connect your account page. This is not something new, almost all social networking-related web applications are doing this. But I love how gowalla implemented it. It is something not forced on you, but it's not left on the sideways also.

Add Friends is also nicely put.
