Noypf.com -- Pinoy Social Network. Fake or Not?

Noypf  claimed they are the Pinoy Social Network. They have interesting topics / groups that are so Filipino like Pinoy JPop, KPop, and others.

It also has interesting members, celebrity members like Manay Lolit, and Bob Ong.

I tried to register so I can befriend Manay Lolit and Bob Ong, and also to get a look at what I can do with the site. But after filling out the sign up fields, I got a message that "Registration is currently by invitation only."

I almost like to believe it is because you will find Filipino-named members in the home page. But after looking around, I cannot help but feel that some of the members' profiles are fabricated. I feel that it's like a website created just to get hits, link-building, and all those SEO hoopla. 


And, it's based in Singapore. 

Of course, it's the internet. You can be in Tumbukto, and create an Ifugao social network, and have your pets and animal farms as the members.
